LULI LOU
This is a creative space I've dedicated to share my love for all things ink and paper.

The Luli Lou blog is named after my late maternal grandparents, Luli and Lourdes.

I'm Joey, the girl behind it.

I post on Tuesdays and occasionally on Fridays since 10/01/2021 ♥︎

July Bullet Journal Layout | 2023 Bujo

Philippines

Hey, I'm back for the second leg of the year! ✦

Hello, my little stationery munchkins!

How are you? I hope you've been doing so well and that the odds have been in your favor.

Me, I've been away for a hot minute, haven't I? Anyway, I'm in a cusp of a new season for myself, so pretty much excited with everything coming my way.

With new things coming in, I meant to jumpstart the revival of the blog with a new bujo layout. :') This month we're doing something very simple with only black pens involved. At first I wanted to make it a little retro, but then I keep on putting it on hold until I "make up the good color combos." So I decided, you know what, let's do something I can easily work on: an all-black all-pen ensemble.

Let's go! ♥︎

cover page

It's very simple, as you can see. But just in case you're interested, I traced that using a print-out from my mini printer (link on the material list below!) and the font face is Agrandir Grand Black. You're welcome, child. ☻

dashboard

I tried to be a little more creative in designing my dashboard just because the setup is in, more or less, black and white. So I included retro UI elements because they're cute, easy to draw, and instantly gives a little something to the page.

sleep log

If you haven't already noticed, I'm a fan of this sleep log template. It does look bare in the beginning, but once the month is over, the stats would definitely add color to the pages.

calendar

I played around the idea of shadows to elevate regularly flat pages, and I think that it meshed well. I've worked with shadows in my February bujo layout, and that one had always made me smile.

habit tracker

I'm getting more serious with making new habits and making these actually happen, so I've decided to keep a habit tracker that would not only track six but now nine habits I wanted to incorporate in my daily life. <33 Instead of the circles that I usually do, I've gone with numbers then shading them in a circle to track.

weeklies

I've been so generous with my weeklies this month that I gave three pages a week⏤fancy that!

I divided each day's layout into three: top tasks, other tasks, and a scheduler. Since I'm working from home permanently now, I thought that a scheduler would help me balance the work-life seesaw. I'm yet to see how much I'd love this setup.

summaries

That's it. Thanks for staying for the short tour. I would say this is the shortest but also longest monthly layout I've done in my whole bujo-ing years, and I'm excited to see this baby filled up.

Swing by again next week ok ♡
