LULI LOU
This is a creative space I've dedicated to share my love for all things ink and paper.

The Luli Lou blog is named after my late maternal grandparents, Luli and Lourdes.

I'm Joey, the girl behind it.

I post on Tuesdays and occasionally on Fridays since 10/01/2021 ♥︎

July Bullet Journal Setup | 2022 Bujo

Philippines

Disclaimer: This month's layout is officially half-baked and half-assed. You are gently advised to tread lightly.

Happy last week of July! As you may or may not know, the camera on my iPhone 6s plus has gone loco so I ceremoniously decided to just take a break as well. Win-win!

However, I got approved for Google Adsense recently (noticed the ads hanging around?) and also has finally upgraded in the phone department a la Chris Evans and that decided I was back to working. And that's how we got here, hi, welcome to my little July bujo layout walk-through.

My theme for this month was retro/hippie. I used the Crayola SuperTips washable markers in lavender, pale pink, sun yellow, olive, and occasionally gray.

Let's begin. ♥︎

COVER PAGE (LEFT)

In here, I was attempting to pull a whole 70s psychedelic situation. It was completed by marking lines by lines and coloring it in, making sure each color is not as close as its sister.

COVER PAGE (RIGHT)

I went on Pinterest to find little retro elements and found an oval template that I thought would fit right in my whole layout. After the oval scene, the whole page seemed missing something, so I dragged over some psychedelic action on here too.

CALENDAR OVERVIEW

The doodles here reminded me of the ones I drew on the back pages of my notebook in the early 00s. For the first time this year I made it fit into a single page, and with that, a color system was born.

QUOTES PAGE

"Bloom, baby, bloom"

When you spend most lull days on Pinterest, you can't think of retro without thinking of the loads of quote posts. This page is a manifestation of it all with a rather simple yet strong reminder.

CURRENT FAVORITES

To be honest, my crush on Current Favorites page is slowly fading. I knew it was happening when this month's had less categories; but just as the previous ones, I tried my best to fill in the boxes with as many varying designs as I could.

WEEKLY SPREADS

I'm actually proud of how my weekly spreads came about. Admittedly, some of the boxes were done half-assed, but some I really did my best with. However with this layout, I figured that I needed more space in jotting in my tasks. So I'm doing a mental note of this as I work on my August layout shortly.

✧ week one ✧
How half-assed is this that my days are even marked wrong. My corrective route? Brackets. 🤦🏻‍♀️

✧ week three ✧

✧ week four ✧

✧ week five ✧
This is my favorite spread whilst being the only one not colored. I thought keeping it black and white was really cute, and you can't say otherwise.

And then here's my peace-out pic. Take this as a little promise that I'll do better next time! Tee hee✌️

That's the end of the tour. Thanks for dropping by. Smell you later!😉💜
