This is a creative space I've dedicated to share my love for all things ink and paper.

The Luli Lou blog is named after my late maternal grandparents, Luli and Lourdes.

I'm Joey, the girl behind it.

February Bullet Journal Setup | 2022 Bujo

Philippines

Hola, amigos! How is the new year treating you so far?

I hope it's been as wonderful as it should be. Also, greetings to a meaningful love month; I hope that everyone feels extra loved up all year round! 🤗

Speaking of love, one activity I love to do is setting up my bullet journal. My theme for this month is earth tones⏤green and brown. I initially planned on doing something else, but I had a really bad flu and opted to be isolated for quite some time and wasn't able to buy the necessary tools, so I had to make use of what I already have at home. And thus the birth of my February bullet journal setup.

Let's begin. ♥

COVER PAGE

For my cover photo, I simply placed seven Februarys vertically and colored on differently to make it stand out. It's a very organic-style lettering⏤you can even see where lines get lopsided and all that. But overall, I'm pretty satisfied with how this came together. :')

MONTHLY OVERVIEW

My monthly overview is based off typical overviews I see on most planners. I just have a calendar table, which I will be populating with icon stickers from Appleprints (Can't wait for the package to arrive in the mail! 📦). I also made sure to include boxes for notes and important dates below the calendar in case the icons don't cut it.

Not really loving how my Tombow pens ghost and almost bleed through the page, but I'm not that mad at the scene either. Just happy the grid action are still very much visible against the whole back page noise. 😅

DASHBOARD

I kept my dashboard very uncomplicated and decided to simply stick with categories I really want to take note of for the month.

I felt like it was important to document my current favorite playlist and watchlist because they change from time to time. And I also wanted to take note of the things I want to improve about my life, hence the "More of" and "Less of" boxes.

MONTHLY BUDGET

This is actually a whole spread, but since I wanted to share the layout up close, here's a halfie! :) This template is the same one I used for the January bujo layout, and I've been loving it so far so I made duplicates for Feb.

The reason why I have a full spread divided in two because my salary is paid bimonthly, and I wanted to fit that in my bujo so I can properly plan budgeting my net pay.

HABIT TRACKER

There is no other way but to go slanted with this whole-spread layout 😅

My habit tracker is inspired by Leelajournals, who is one of my favorite bullet journal YouTubers. And this tracker layout has been consistent from my expository bullet journal pages and January layout, and I find that it's worked well with me, so I feel like I'll be keeping this for a while.

HAPPY MEMORIES

It's the first time I incorporated a Happy Memories page in my bullet journal. I think that aside from the midyear highlights I've incorporated on my general bujo pages, it would be charming to check out more than just one happy memory in a month.

By the way, these are photo spaces sized 2 x3.

WEEKLIES COVER PAGE

My weekly cover page is also very uncomplicated. I wanted it to set the tone of my to-do lists on the next pages, so I thoughtfully added a monthly to-do list, a quote to anchor on, and an affirmation to boost myself.

My word for February is creativity. And thanks to this awesome word-of-the-year generator, I was able to get a word that I would very much like to resonate with my February. :)

WEEKLY VIEWS

I'm lowkey very satisfied with how my weeklies came to be. I still did it dutch door style but now explored a layout featuring slender vertical rectangles. I also gotten around using my Motex label maker in marking days of the week, yay!

MONTH SUMMARY

And so to sum up the whole month, here's the month summary page where I answer questions that'll make me reminisce on the days of February. I'll be filling this in towards the end of the month.

PROJECTS

A consistent life goal is to always be productive. Since my weeklies are normally for work-related tasks and appointments, I felt like keeping up with my personal creative projects would be made easier with a dedicated for just that.

For this page, I just had three columns: item, in progress, and completed.

And that's what's up with my February bullet journal. I'm really excited to fill it in. I can see that there's definitely pages I'll be duplicating on the succeeding months, and I might experiment on other layouts on some of them too. But all in all, my heart is happy whenever I see this layout, and I think that's what really matters, isn't it?

Thank you so much for checking this one out, and I hope that this entry has been worth your time. See you on the next one! (Scroll down for materials used if you're interested!)
