I love checking out other stationery blogs; seeing their spreads are quite a breeze because you just have to scroll on and on. But what I love about watching spreads on Youtube is because they're usually really chatty. It feels like getting to know them more and more as people, not just their creative inputs. And do you ever wonder how bujo Youtubers have really soothing voices? Oh my heart. 🥺
Because of the timing, it doesn't seem like the 2022 bujo setups are around, so I embedded 2021 bujo setups instead to kind of give you a quick view of their aesthetic and art style. You ready?
Let's begin! ♥︎
1. AMANDA RACH LEE
It's impossible to not include Amanda on this list, as we know she's one of the OG in Youtube bullet journaling. She's even released her very own journals already! I find Amanda's videos really soothing especially because she sometimes do them real time, as opposed to recording the video and the voice over separately.
Amanda also has a Twitch account where you can interact with her via livestream, and you can politely ask her to teach you some sketches. :)
2. SHAYDA CAMPBELL
Shayda is my favorite *personal* art teacher. The reason why I never had gone through getting a Skillshare premium (just yet, at least) because I really enjoy Shayda's tutorials too much. I'm always amazed by how she can make lines into something beautiful.
If you're like me and you want to learn illustration or up your doodling game, I encourage you to go check out Shayda. If you're one who prefer a slow step-by-step learning process, her Patreon offers those tutorial resources.

3. LEELAJOURNALS
I have a confession to make: Lately I've been greatly influenced by Leela's dainty minimalist art style, especially that she uses brown a lot. She's one of the two people who makes uncomplicated bujo setups still very charming.
Another reason why I'm gravitating toward Leelajournals is, we both like to add the same elements, making it super easy for me to recreate her spreads (thief's confession hahaha jk! 😂)

4. BUJO WITH ZOZO
Setups by Zozo are thoughtful yet easy to follow. I like that she doesn't feel the need to overcomplicate things just to be productive.
Okay, I really just want to say Bujo with Zozo has healed my bujo self-esteem⏤let me explain. I created a very simple setup for 2021, and seeing other people setup theirs made me feel rather small. But when I discovered Zozo midyear, I noticed my bujo setup resonates a lot with hers, and hers looked wonderful and matched the intended function. With that, I realized my bujo setup may not be as creative and jaw-dropping as the others, but it works for my needs. And that's why I love it.
So thank you, Bujo with Zozo. I'm one of the people you've indirectly influenced. ♥︎

5. STUDYQUILL
Jasmine (aka studyquill) is the student I wish I was when I was in school. She makes studying a fun, creative experience, instead of a dreadful after-school / weekend activity.
So if you're a university student, a short course student, a student in anything really, I highly suggest you check out Studyquill. You'll get a lot of helpful tips that I'm sure will come in handy around hell week or any other school day for that matter.

6. TIINASDIARY
If you want to see a bullet journal that's looks like an incredible art journal, you have to see Tiinasdiary. She loves to incorporate painting on her bujo, so it's a no-brainer to say she's a huge fan of excellent-quality journals.
Her bujo setups are vibrant, colorful, and are super satistfying!

7. JENNY JOURNALS
Jenny's setups are never short of creativity and out-of-the-box ideas. I'm always impressed by how she comes up with her themes, instead of just coming up with something rather plain and obvious.
Admittedly, I'm not one to replicate her art style⏤I think it's too complicated for me, for a bullet journal that is. But even though that's the case, I'm still a fan of Jenny Journals's bujo content because her layouts are pleasing to the eyes and her patience and perseverance in creating every single page and spread are truly inspiring!

Of course, this isn't to say these are the only best resources for bujo ideas⏤I just spotlighted my favorite ones. I am excited to discover more content YouTubers like them, but until then, I will be enjoying content by these lovely ladies.
If you want to recommend journaling content creators, please feel free to drop their channel names, links, etc. on the comment section, and I will happily check them out! 🤗
